The bench’s crisp outlines are reminiscent of autumn leaves scattering in the wind. The shapes create a rich pattern that forms Scatter’s surface. As light passes through the bench, shadows form on the ground beneath it. Almost like camouflage, the shadows transform familiar elements of the natural world into a unique surface.
