Sign Holder

Design Claesson Koivisto Rune

This freestanding indoor sign holder is the perfect way get things noticed. Sign-up is fitted with a heavy iron foot that holds it securely in place when positioned outdoors. The frame is made with a menu holder in mind but also lends itself to signage, images, logos and announcements. Although Sign-up can be placed outdoors, we recommend that any material displayed in the frame is laminated or waterproofed. The display is sized to hold a sheet of A3.

Zinc plated and powder coated steel.
100% recycled Sandcast Aluminum.
Cast iron.

The base is made in cast iron or in sand cast aluminium. The post is made from tubular steel. The base and post are powder-coated in a choice of standard colours: Grey Gris 2900 Sablé, Noir 2200 Sablé or White Ivoire Blanche.

Delivered in parts for easy assembly.

Freestanding.

Scratches to powder-coated steel can be repainted with alkyd oil enamel.

Made with a cast iron base or alternatively a sand-cast aluminium base. Available is standard colours grey, black or white. Sign-up belongs to the Up series of products which include an ashtray, coat rack, table, rope barrier and torch-holder.

Claesson Koivisto Rune

Claesson Koivisto Rune is a Swedish architectural partnership, founded in Stockholm, in 1995, by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune. Begun as an architectural firm, it is now an internationally-acclaimed, multi-disciplinary office with an equal emphasis on both architecture and design.

Claesson Koivisto Rune are the first Swedish office to have exhibited in the international section at the Venice Architecture Biennale, in 2004. The office has received an array of awards and recognitions, amongst them the prestigious Red Dot in five different categories and Designer of the Year by Elle Décor Italia, 2011 and 2014. 2020 Interior Designer of the Year, Elle Deco Japan.

Designs by Claesson Koivisto Rune are found in the collections of international brands, such as Arflex, Boffi, Cappellini, Emmegi, Fontana Arte, Paola Lenti, Time & Style and Wästberg. A recent example of their architecture is the K5 Hotel in Tokyo. A 400-page architectural monography was published by Birkhäuser, Basel, in 2020.
