Nola uses high-quality steel of good strength in our products. Steel rusts if left untreated and must therefore be surface treated. For this we use two main methods for surface treatment of steel parts; electrogalvanizing and powder coating as well as hot-dip galvanizing.
Powder coating is a coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint, powder coating is usually applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light. The result is an even, hard-wearing coloured surface with the desired gloss level.

Anki Gneib has an education in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at the University College of Art, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. In her studio, she works creatively with a wide range of projects such as residential architecture, interior design for commercial spaces with a focus on facility branding as well as furniture, lighting and product design.
