The Basket’s open, mesh-like structure provides the supersize comfort of a generous armchair, while being lighter than a solid seat. The sides rise upwards to form a spacious and comfortable backrest. Rain and water run off without leaving any lasting marks, making the seats virtually maintenance-free. The range consists of three sizes. Wooden seats or fabric seat cushions can be ordered for outdoor versions, while a leather seat cushion is available for indoor use. Both cushions fit inside the frame’s contours and enhance the overall comfort of the seat.

Upholstered foam or Dryfoam padded seat in fabric or leather, wooden seat in Accoya® or oak. The cushions are filled with a blend of coco latex and wool. The leather is sustainably-sourced from Swedish tannery Tärnsjö.

Fully assembled. Bolts for attaching to the surface are not included.

Free-standing, but can be bolted to the ground if required.

Scratches can be repainted with alkyd paint if needed. Powder coating paint is also available in spray bottles.

Oiled oak should be oiled at least once a year to maintain its reddish-brown colour. Oak turns grey over time.

Accoya® wood is the result of more than 80 years of research and development into modifying wood through acetylation, a form of vinegar. The wood used for Accoya® is a pine tree called Radiata pine, a fast-growing species that is more or less free of knots. Accoya® wood has properties that match or exceed those of tropical woods but is manufactured using a non-toxic process and uses wood from renewable FSC-certified forests. The wood has a light colour that greys over time. Accoya® may also have grey-black spots but this does not affect the durability or longevity of the seat as it is very hard-wearing. The wood has very little movement compared to other woods and can withstand humid and rainy environments very well.
