Wooden barrels make attractive planters, whether combined with a base or placed directly on the ground. Planters have been made in this style for several hundred years, decorating palaces and piazzas as well as parks. Kaprifol is based on a traditional style discovered in an eighteenth-century park near Stockholm, which is made with the same traditional wooden staves, steel bands and metal base.

Kaprifol is based on a traditional eighteenth-century style made with traditional wooden staves, steel bands and a detachable metal base.

Base: made from 100% recycled aluminium produced by the sand-moulded casting method
Planter: made from oak slats and steel straps.

Maintenance:
Maintenance is normally required but must be kept moist to prevent it from leaking. Scratches to the powder-coated steel can be treated with alkyd oil enamel as needed.
