Urban planters are made to be big and heavy, enabling them to be used for pedestrian barriers or to block vehicle access. Because most require heavy-duty equipment or significant manpower to move them, big planters were usually not an option for businesses without industrial machinery. Now that Nola has designed Bock, a concrete planter sized to be lifted by a forklift truck, big planters are now within reach of a wider range of businesses and institutions.
