The moulded concrete shapes of these monumental forms may appear to be massive, but their sculptural shapes were actually inspired by the weightless lines of the Grid chair. Like different sides of the same coin, the two chairs are literally the skin and bones of a single design. The impression of the wave-like grid pattern is etched across the surface of the concrete cair, while its back and sides-like the surfaces of the cube side table-remain smooth and unblemished.

Cast concrete does not normally require maintenance. Damages can be repaired with a polyester filler such as Plastic Padding.
