BouleDesign: Charlotte Lund
Boules is a popular sport in France, where it is played in open squares and on lawns in villages and towns. The popular Boule bollard recalls the large balls used for the game, cast by the players towards a smaller white ball. Boule is unique among bollards, creating a traffic barrier and dividing urban space with low, lateral forms rather than vertical posts.
