Description

The Kalmarsund bench is a versatile design that can be combined with a range of parts to create a customised bench. Part of the Kalmar furniture suite, Kalmarsund can be ordered as a wall-mounted version. The bench can be fitted with a backrest, which has been designed with a slight curve to cradle the back comfortably. The bench’s slated seat enables it to dry quickly when wet, making it an excellent choice fo areas without shelter.

Product description:

A versatile, customisable outdoor bench.

Material:

The bench is made in pine treated with oil alkyd enamel, oiled oak or oiled teak. Oiled mahogany is available upon request. The frame is made in zink-plated, powdercoated oval-shaped steel pipe in standard colours. Other steel coatings are also available upon request.

Installation:

The seat and legs are delivered for assembly on site with the bolts provided.

Installation:

The supports for the ground-mounted version are extended for mounting beneath the surface of the ground. The attachable version should be bolted to a precast concrete foundation with bolts M10. Bolts not included.

Maintenance:

Oiled wood should be maintained regularly , at least twice a year. Over time oak darkens and teak turns grey. Polyester powder-coated steel can be treated with alkyd oil enamel as needed.
