Dyning belongs to a new breed of outdoor furniture that bring sculptural shapes to public areas. Inspired by the rise and fall of ocean waves, Dyning´s undulating shape appears to capture the heaving motion of the sea. The bench is constructed from crisply-countoured slats assembled in gentle curves.

Variations
Dyning can be ordered with or without back. Available in four different lengths, the bench can be customised for use in a variety of settings.

Individual dimensions:
The steel pipe in the frame measures 101×4 mm. The flat steel pieces measure 50 mm x 8 mm. The diameter of the base plate is 200 mm. The slats measure 40 mm x 40 mm.

Dyning passar i många miljöer – på gångstråk, utefter kajer, i gatumiljöer och/eller i parker. Den kan också tjäna som blickfång och spännande sittplats i en företagsentré eller varuhus. Bänken finns i fyra olika längder som standard. Ställ ihop flera bänkar till en långbänk som böljar fram.
Material:
The frame is made in either hot-dipped galvanized steel or zinc-plated steel polyester powder-coated in black RAL 9005. The slats are made in oiled oak, mahogany or teak. Other materials are available at request.

Fully assembled.
Installation:
The legs on the ground-mounted version are 50 cm longer to be mounted below the ground. The attachable version can be bolted to a precast foundation.

Maintenance:
Oiled wood should be maintained regularly, at least twice a year. Over time oak darkens and teak turns grey. Polyester powder-coated steel can be treated with alkyd oil enamel as needed.
