Product description:

Andersson’s first bench was launched more than thirty years ago, yet the design has hardly dated at all. Sofa No 2 has been made with the same timelessness in mind, crafted with an understated elegance that will seem contemporary for years to come. Solid oak slats unite the seat and backrest in a single, swooping gesture, carefully balanced atop a quadrangle beam that anchors them to the ground or bolts into the pavement. As its name suggests, the bench offers the contentment of a sofa, providing comfort for years to come.

Material:

Square pipes 80×40mm, arm-rests and flat steel frame 10×50mm and 8×30mm. The steel is blasted, zinc-plated and polyester powder coated, gray RAL 7016. Laths in oiled oak, oiled teak or alkyd oil enamel on pine. Dimensions 32×25 and 52×25 mm.

Installation:

The seat is ready assembled, the legs however must be attached to the construction. Bolts enclosed.

Installation:

The attachable version is to be bolted to pavement with bolts M10 (not included), the ground mount version has prolonged legs to be mounted directly into ground.

Maintenance:

The oiled oak or teak shall be maintained regularly, at least twice a year. With time the oak darkens and the teak turns grey. Painted pine and polyester powder-coated steel can be improved when needed with alkyd oil enamel.
